Sunday's Story: Ruth

Hey Everyone!

On church this Sunday, we'll be reading the story of Ruth. To set the scene a little, this story was written sometime after the period of judges, somewhere from 1375-1050 BC, in a time where the people of Israel were living for themselves, rather than for God.
The story itself is of Ruth, a Moabite woman who marries into the family of a woman named Naomi.
It's a story of faithfulness, kindness, integrity, protection, and prosperity through blessings.
I know it's kind of late in the week already, so try preparing your mind to learn and discuss Ruth tomorrow! Here's a verse from Ruth and some questions to get your mind thinking:

"Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God."
Ruth 1:16

Think about one of your best friends. Say they just lost someone dear to them. Would you follow these friends through anything and help them, no matter what it meant for you? Would you be able to give up everything, your family, your friends, and your lifestyle, in order to stay with them and comfort them?
